Step 2- Get the Bots You Want

But there’s a catch, that is you should know the client ID of the bot which you want to be added. Also, you should be logged in to your Discord server. Usually, this method is used when you want to add bots from Github, and they don’t have their own website, in that case, this method works just fine.

  1. Open your browser and paste the following URL: https://discordapp.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=<Bot_Client_ID>&scope=bot&permissions=0.
  2. Change ‘Bot_Client_ID’ in the above URL with the actual client ID of the bot you want to add. Which can be found on the bot’s website, or from GitHub.
  3. There are chances that you still have to authorize the bot to get access to the server, but at times it may do it automatically. Either way, you have to authorize to add the bot to your discord server.
