But when it comes to listing to offline music, lyrics are some great content that lacks especially when you are about to have a good mood to listen to desired music.

Adding Lyrics to MP3 Files
Who want to add lyrics to MP3 files that will cost your pocket? Let’s focus on getting the job done with ease and free methods.
Mind you, whatever music player you are using, it is important to enable lyrics on it. Else, you cannot able to see the lyrics of the song offline.
Embed Lyrics in Windows Media Player
Step 1: Open Windows Media Player on your Windows computer, go to the Now Playing screen while clicking on the Switch to Now Playing button located at the bottom right corner of the player.

Step 2: Do a right-click anywhere in the Now Playing screen, enable Lyrics, captions, and subtitles, turn it on if there’s any toggle option.
Once done, the embedded lyrics will appear and sync with the music.
Embed Lyrics in Windows Media in iTunes
Here, we need to use a visualizer plugin called CoverVersion which is available for Windows and Mac.
Step 1: Download and install CoverVersion accordingly, if your iTunes is running in the background, just close the app.
- For Windows: Extract the downloaded .zip file and mov it to C:\Users\username\App Data\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins\” or “C:\Program Files\iTunes\Plug-ins” depending on the Windows version.
- For Mac: Open CoverVersion.dmg and copy the CoverVersion and visit Finder, hold Option key and Library folder will appear paste the copied file in
Step 2: Visit iTunes, from the iTunes View menu select Show Visualizer, and activate it.
Once done, lyrics will start appearing in iTunes.
Embed Lyrics to MP3 on Mac
For Mac users, we need to download a tool known as “Get Lyrical” which will help us to embed lyrics of the songs present in our iTunes library. Follow the steps mentioned below to do so:
Step 1: Download and Install Get Lyrical on your Mac computer.
Step 2: Simply open the Get Lyrical app, while doing so, iTunes opens automatically.
Step 3: Now we will begin to embed the lyrics to songs.
- To embed lyrics to entire album: Visit your Music Collection in iTunes and select the album that you want to embed lyrics with, and click on the Album View located at the top right corner.
- To embed lyrics to playlist: Visit Playlists tab located at the top of the screen, now just select the playlist that you want to embed the lyrics.
- To embed lyrics to bunch of songs: Select Songs View located at the top right corner and visit “My Music” tab. Just select the songs that you want to make lyrics to get embed and switch on Get Lyrical application. Click on Tag Selection button, the app will find the lyrics of the songs and will embed the lyrics of the songs that you have selected earlier, lyrics will appear offline.
Mind you, Get Lyrical now have a feature called “Tagging mode” which allows embedding lyrics of all songs played by iTunes, Tagging mode runs in the background.
View Lyrics on iOS/iPadOS
For iOS and iPadOS, we don’t need to use any third=party tool to view the lyrics. The built-in music app on iOS/iPadOS devices will allow you to display embedded MP3 lyrics. Once you have embedded the lyrics as mentioned above, you will be able to sync lyrics using iTunes.
Connect your device to iTunes and let all the music sync, once done just disconnect the connection between your device and computer and play a song in the Music app. Tap on the album art in Now Playing Screen to display embedded lyrics.
View Lyrics on Android
We are going to use Rocket Player for Android devices that will make lyrics appear while listening to music.
Step 1: Download and install Rocket Player from Google Play Store.

Step 2: Open Rocket Player and it will scan all the MP3 files of your Android device.
Step 3: Once done, just visit the music tab located in Rocket Player, and start playing a song from your music collection.
Step 4: In order to appear song lyrics, tap on More Options represented in three vertical dots, and select Show Embedded Lyrics.
You will be able to see the lyrics of the current music.
Lyrics Finder for Windows
Lyrics Finder is an application that will allow you to get the lyrics of an MP3 file and syncs with it automatically. The app is only available for Windows operating system. Here’s how to use it:
Step 1: Download and install Lyrics Finder for Windows.
Step 2: Once done, just drag and drop the MP3 file in the main window.
Step 3: Click on Add folder or Add files option buttons located at the top-left corner.
As soon as hit the add files button, this will download the lyrics of the song and will sync automatically with the MP3 file. A green dot will represent that the lyrics are present in the song, just tap on the play button present right next to the song.
