Step 12: Review your account and click on “Next”. Accept the “Privacy and Terms” by clicking on “I agree”.

You don’t have to provide any other information now. You can use your new Gmail account without verifying your phone number.

Method 2: Set Your Age to Less Than 18

The second method to bypass the phone verification process is by providing your age as less than 18 years. If you put your age as 15 or younger, Google will assume that you don’t have a mobile phone, hence, it will not ask you for the phone number verification.

You can create an account without a phone number as follows:

• Open the browser on your desktop and visit Gmail.
• Click on “Create account” to create a new Gmail account.
• When you click on “Create account”, you will get a choice to choose from “For Myself” or “For Business”.
• Enter all the details like First and Last name, Password, and Username.

• Set your birth year to 2005 (assuming the current year as 2020) so that it will count you as 15 years old.
• Now, leave the phone number field as blank. Click on “Next”.
• Agree to Privacy and Terms for Google Account.

But, Google can ask you for your phone number in the future. Additionally, you can have a security option like another email.

Note: Make sure that you are logged out from all of your other Gmail accounts. If not, then Google will not ask you for your birth date and assume your birthday is the same as for your previous accounts.

Step 1: Open your favorite browser, either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
