Step 1: Go to the audio file on WhatsApp, and tap on the download button to save the file on your iPhone storage.
Step 2: Visit iPhone Settings > iCloud and turn on the iCloud Drive option.
Step 3: Scroll down on the same page until you see WhatsApp, and turn it on to save WhatsApp data.
Step 4: Now all the WhatsApp data will get stored in the iCloud storage, you will find the audio file in the iCloud backup.
Send Audio file through email to yourself on iOS
This method of saving the audio file is good when you want to save a single file and not an entire WhatsApp data. Follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Go to the audio file present inside WhatsApp.
Step 2: Hold the audio file that you want to save, you will get options such as to reply, forward, delete, etc.
Step 3: Tap on the Forward option and select the share button to share the audio file.
Step 4: Share the audio file on Mail, and send the file to yourself or to any other contact of yours.
How to Save Audio from WhatsApp for iOS Android?
Saving the audio file from WhatsApp on Android is not complicated at all, you can do that with any file manager. We are using ES File Explorer here:
Step 1: Visit Google Play Store, and download and install ES File Manager (you can use any file manager).
Step 2: Now, using ES File Explorer, browse to follow the following location:
/sdcard/WhatsApp/Media/location.
The file can also be present in the internal phone storage, find it accordingly.
Step 3: Now, visit the WhatsApp voice folder.
Files will be named and organized according to the date. Find the correct file and save it to the location that you wish to store.
