Change the Content & Privacy Restriction Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time.
  2. Next, Click Content & Privacy Restrictions and Enter the Passcode (if required).
  3. Here, Enable the Content & Privacy Restriction button.
  4. Then, Select iTunes & App Store Purchases.
  5. Now, tap on “Installing Apps” and change it as “Don’t allow“.
  6. Next, tap on “In-app Purchases” and change it to “Don’t allow”.

Set Screen Time Limits on Apps

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Screen Time.
  3. Here, Turn On the Screen Time Limit and Set the Passcode.

  5. Tap on Add limits > All apps & Categories > Next.

After the Screen Time Limit is set, if you want to access a particular app, it will ask for Approval Time Limit. Here you can give a Time Limit of your choice and then the app will get unlocked. Once the time limit you had provided has reached, then the app will be locked again.
