Step 3: Once done, tap on the movie to check rental price.

Step 4: You will get to see movie info along with the trailer. You will get to see a price to rent on the left side of the screen.

Step 5: Tap on the rent button, login with your Apple ID.

Step 6: Here, you will get to see the option to download the movie to watch now or later. Tap on download to watch rental movies offline.

Mind you, you only have 30 days to start watching an iTunes rental movie. Once you’ve begun to watch movies offline, you just have 48 hours the time period. That means, you can watch downloaded rental movies as much as you want in a 48 hour time period, after that the movie will disappear from library.

Once, the movie started to download, you can’t have it on Apple TV, but you can AirPlay to it. The circle that fills up beside the play button will show Downloaded to know whether the movie has downloaded.
