In Windows 10 Settings app, there is a Phone icon at the front page of the app that says ‘Link your Android, iPhone’. This option helps you connect your Android or iPhone with Windows 10, and provide several options to manage the device including but not limited to receive notifications right on the desktop. If you see “YourPhone.exe” in the Task Manager and are wondering if it is a virus, don’t worry, it is not.
What is YourPhone.exe process?
As we said before, one of the responsibilities of the YourPhone.exe is to keep sending any notification on the phone to desktop and that is why the process is constantly running in the background at all times.
And if you using this for Microsoft apps, you can continue where you left on the phone on your computer. So this process constantly keeps tab of what is happening on your phone to give you a better the experience. The only requirement to use this feature is that you are using the same Microsoft account both on the phone, and the computer.
