Step 1: Press Windows + R to open the Run box.

Step 2: Type services.msc in the Run box and press OK.

Step 3: The Services windows will open up showing you all the stopped and running services of the Window 10 operating system. Scroll down and search Bonjour Service and do a right-click and select Properties.

How to Uninstall Bonjour Service from Windows 10 PC?

Uninstalling or removing the Bonjour Service from your PC is easy, this can be done by using Control Panel.

Step 1: Visit the Start menu and open Settings.

Step 10: A prompt will appear asking you to restart your PC, just restart your PC.

And the files will get removed completely after a restart, but if any pop-up windows continue to appear even after a restart then follow the steps mentioned below where we will use Command Prompt.

  1. Do a right click on the Start menu and open Command Prompt (Admin).
  2. In the Command Prompt window,  type the address (\Program Files\Bonjour) and press enter.
  3. Type mDNResponder.exe -remove and press enter to execute the command line.
  4. Once done, you should be able to see confirmation message Removed Service.

Alternate Method to remove Bonjour

  • Type the following command into the Command Prompt
