Method to Know Whether Notion Compress Images
Step 1: Upload an image file in Notion, but there’s a catch, just note the size of the image before uploading on the platform.
Step 2: Once the image is uploaded in Notion, simply download the same uploaded image.
Step 3: Now check the file size of the image.
What we have observed that the image file size before uploading and after the download was exactly the same. Hence, this clears the doubt that Notion does not compress the images. Simple and effective isn’t it?
But think in this way! As mentioned, high-quality images lead to more page buffering, so does this mean that high-quality images are the actual reason why Notion takes time to buffer on our system? Because Notion does not work offline, you have to keep your device connected to the internet to save changes.
