Conference Call feature on your iPhone is the Saviour to all these problems, as it helps in connecting multiple people at once on one call.

How to Make a Conference Call on iPhone?

The Conference Call feature is already available on your Phone App, and you can add multiple numbers of people to one call by following the following steps, however, there is a limit to it and it differs by which cellular carrier you use.

To Make a Conference call follow the following Steps.

Step 1. Call the first person you want on your conference call on your iPhone using the Phone App.

Step 2. Once the person picks up the call, tap on the add call feature which will open your contact list.

Step 3. Now you can add anyone from your contact list on Conference Call.

Step 4. When the person picks up your call, tap on the merge calls option to add him to your call.

Step 5. Repeat the process if you want to add more people to your conference call.

And as mentioned above there is a limit to it depending upon your carrier you can only add people to a certain limit only.

Also, if you are already on a Conference Call with someone, choose Hold & Accept and when you answer it, tap on merge call to add the person to your conference call.

How to Disconnect Specific Callers During a Conference Call and Have Private Conversations on iPhone?

When you are on a Conference Call, you can also talk with one particular person privately and also can disconnect people on the call separately. For that, you need to follow the steps given below.

But keep this in mind that the person who called first and added the people later on onto the call can see all the participants present on the Conference Call.

Step 1. Select the ‘i’ icon located just at the right side of the name of the participant’s name. (iOS 7 and later on) or select the arrow next to conference (iOs6 and earlier versions) on top of your screen.

Step 2. Select Private next to the name of the person you wish to talk with privately on the Conference screen.

You can also remove specific participants from the conference call without ending the call altogether. To hang up on a specific person:

  • On iOS 7 and late, tap on End next to the name of the conference call participant you want to disconnect.
  • On iOS 6 or earlier, if you want to remove someone from a conference call, hit the red phone icon next to their name, then select End.
